Climate Camp curiosities

Now this guy came came complete with a ponytail – and tried to keep well away from the main gate to the Campsite.
Couldn’t get very many pics of him, and what I could get aren’t very good as I was on full zoom and didn’t have a tripod with me – and my hands aren’t very steady at the best of times!
But the question I have to ask myself is – since when did cops start wearing ponytails? Couldn’t be he’s normally undercover, could it?
Now why, I ask myself, has this guy got two different numbers on his epaulettes? Maybe one just fell off somewhere and he hasn’t yet had a chance to replace it.
It certainly wouldn’t be cos he’d wish to cause a mis-identification at some stage and for some reason would it?
