The feature that made this event unique for me though was the marked absence of police, in distinct contrast to the previous Camps at Drax, Heathrow, and Kingsnorth.
This year’s Climate Camp has to have been a totally unique event in the history of the Camp for Climate Action.

This year’s Climate Camp is to be “somewhere in London”, running from 26th August through to 2nd September.
As for the precise location, well, campers are as much in the dark as anyone else. Unlike previous years when the location of the site had been announced some weeks beforehand on the Climate Camp website.
